GENERATION 6. NEW SUBARU OUTBACK ARRIVES IN KAZAKHSTAN

The official distributor Subaru Kazakhstan, an Astana Motors company, has announced the start of sales in Kazakhstan of the 2022 Subaru Outback.

On September 3, 2021, a video presentation of the 6th Generation Subaru Outback took place on Subaru Kazakhstan’s official YouTube channel.

The redesigned crossover in Premium and Touring trim levels is now available for sale at all Subaru dealerships in the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Aktobe, Uralsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Kostanay, Karaganda, Aktau, Kokshetau, Petropavlovsk, Taldykorgan and Atyrau.

The 2022 Subaru Outback is built on the next-generation Subaru Global Platform (SGP), which provides better driving performance, increased ride comfort and superior safety.

The SGP-based 6th generation Subaru Outback has gained in size. With a wider body and greater rear seat legroom, the interior has become more spacious. At 4870 mm long, the crossover is 50 mm larger than the older model, with a width of 1875 mm (+35 mm). The height (1675 mm) and wheelbase (2745 mm) have remained unchanged. The same goes for ground clearance, which stands at 213 mm.

The new-generation Subaru Boxer engine is a 2.5-liter direct-injection engine pumping out 188 hp (13 hp more than its predecessor). Peak torque output has risen by 10 Nm (to 245 Nm), coming on stream between 3400-4600 rpm (versus the previous generation’s 4000 rpm).

The new cooling system ensures intensive engine warm-up during cold starts. The Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) has an increased gear ratio, delivering torque more efficiently during the start to ensure better dynamics. On the road, lower engine speeds result in improved fuel efficiency and acoustic comfort, while the 8-speed manual mode provides more flexibility in choosing your personal driving style.
