SALES OF THE NEW HYUNDAI TUCSON STARTED IN KAZAKHSTAN

The fourth-generation Hyundai Tucson has rolled off the assembly line of Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan, a subsidiary of Astana Motors.

The official distributor Hyundai Auto Kazakhstan presented the SUV in the Comfort, Travel, High-Tech, and Luxe configurations. The prices for the Hyundai Tucson start from 10,890,000 tenge depending on the configuration.

The new-generation Hyundai Tucson began a new era in the model history. This premiere deserved the special attention of Hyundai fans due to the designers’ unconventional approach to each automobile part, from its bold image in the signature Sensuous Sportiness style to the technological equipment.

The first impressive thing in the new model is its futuristic exterior design, a spacious comfortable interior, and a high level of comfort. The Hyundai Tucson is suitable both for individual and family trips.

The trunk capacity may be increased to 1,903 liters by folding down the backseat.

The innovative solution of the model developers — a bezel-free dashboard — also deserves respect. The SUV’s multimedia system has a 10.25-inch display and a premium KRELL audio system.

Due to convenient controls using the sensor display and quick smartphone synchronization, the driver has access to personal content via Apple Carplay or Android Auto.

The latest Hyundai development is a range of Smartstream engines available in two modifications: a 2.0-liter engine delivering 150 hp and 192 Nm and a 2.5-liter engine delivering 190 hp and 242 Nm.

The 2.0-liter engine is equipped with 6-speed transmissions, automatic and manual in the basic configuration, with the possibility of selecting a front- and an all-wheel drive. The 2.5-liter engine in the new Hyundai Tucson is equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive.

The intellectual all-wheel drive system HTRAC ensures confidence for drivers in any weather. The system tracks the speed and road surface condition and automatically distributes torque between wheels; if necessary, it brakes each wheel, ensuring a reliable road grip and stability in complicated weather conditions.

On the road, the driver can select driving modes suitable for their style: NORMAL for everyday driving, ECO for best fuel economy, SPORT for quick acceleration, or SMART for possibility to regulate automatically speed change intervals based on a specific driving style.

The Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) sends a warning to the driver about possible threats and activates brakes to avoid collision with any objects in front of the car.

The developers of the new model also integrated a system that tracks the situation in blind spots using radars in the rear part of the car. If there are obstacles around the car, front and rear parking sensors will warn the driver about them and help to avoid damages in the process of parking.

Adaptive cruise control maintains the set speed and distance to the vehicle in front.

If a turn signal is on, video from the cameras in rear-view mirrors is shown on the dashboard, which helps the driver to control the situation around the car more confidently.
