BACK TO SCHOOL SOON

Astana Group has provided children with computers for distance learning.

Astana Group and Almaty Special Boarding School No. 2 have been friends for a long time. The company has been supporting children with musculoskeletal disorders for 20 years. Just before the school year, Astana Group has handed over several computers to the boarding school which will be of use for children during distance learning at home.

– Not all families of our schoolchildren can afford a PC or laptop. During the fourth term of the past school year, many children had to learn using smartphones, which is obviously not convenient. So, such assistance is very important for us, – boarding school director Bakhyt Yermekova says.

The company has purchased Karyzsyz Kazak (Debt-Free Kazakh) books for teachers and parents of children. This book will provide useful knowledge of how to deal with personal finances and live without debts.

Astana Group had earlier helped equip classrooms for children, purchased furniture, special training devices, and handed over Hyundai vans to be used for tours. Company employees regularly visit children and arrange holidays and sporting activities for them. In spring, during the pandemic, Astana Group employees prepared food baskets and delivered them to the needy families of boarding school children.
