The driver assistance technology consists of two stereo camera lenses in the upper part of the windshield that allow a car to “see” images of objects in front of it. Even if a driver is distracted while driving, the EyeSight safety system will warn of the danger. The system will also warn when a car in front starts moving, when a car is unintentionally coming off the road and, most importantly, it will apply braking in case of a head-on clash.
Subaru Rear Vehicle Detection, which is an additional complex of safety system, includes a system of assistance when driving reverse (Rear Cross Traffic Alert - RCTA), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), and Lane Change Assist (LCA).
